Erä’s Emmentaler mission

The line-up is Erä’s best ever, everyone’s healthy and the team has prepared itself well for a go for the Finnish Championship title.

But not quite yet.

First Erä will fly to Switzerland, attempting to renew their success from last year, snatching a place in the EuroFloorball Cup finals in October.

Tatran Stresovice and Tigers Langnau are waiting, ready to erect Erä’s first obstacle of the season. Both are good and strong teams that can launch poisonous counterattacks, Erä knows.

Still they set off for Emmental confident.

- We believe our roster is broader and more even than theirs, forward Jani Helenius says.
- We are fast and mobile and we control the ball well.

- Sure, it’s Tigers’ home rink but that’s no big deal, World Champion center Jani Kukkola thinks.

- We’re a good away team, too.
